What a bloody brilliant idea....right?!

Well in case you missed it yesterday I came up with a bloody brilliant idea!

Granted it depends on a couple of certainties, but assuming that's all good then this will work a treat.

I know we're no longer squimish teenagers and are capable of answering the phone to numbers we don't know, I still get a bit nervous. Like who the FUCK wants to call me who I don't know!
Where did they get my number from, is it another of those 'hilarious' pranks where my number is attached to the picture of a Google searched 'naked woman' promising things like a "good time"? I just can't be sure.

Therefore if a number calls your mobile which you don't recognise (or a home phone for that matter) and is a mobile (the number calling you MUST be a mobile) and it won't work on private or withheld numbers, as will become obvious why. All you need to do is to save that number in your phone under any old name, I opt for 'Rogue#1' usually.
Once saved in your phone book, go to Whatsapp and search for that person, assuming they also have Whatsapp as so many people do, you'll be able to see their photo and more than likely identify who is calling you!
ALSO this can be done for random text messages you receive too, same principle since you don't have the number saved. Really helps to avoid that awkward question of "WHO THE FUCK IS THIS"

There are dependancies obviously, it must be a mobile, it needs to show the number and they need to have Whatsapp but assuming that's all fine, then voila, case solved.

Personally I think this is quite smart as I've had 2 totally random numbers text me lately and I didn't know who it was, did that and realised it was old friends who I hadn't saved!

Great use would be if you've just got a new SIM/Phone with no contacts saved, you've already got your essential contacts saved, and then it's perfect for stragglers or whatever who are texting you out the blue - do it there to save an awkward convo!

You're welcome.
